because there’s this headache that sucks about 40% of my will to get up and i’ve just realized what a terrible mistake it was to install the computer right beside my friggin’ bed

I woke up a good 50 minutes ago, dashed to the kitchen to lubricate my brain cells with stale coffee. The first 40 minutes of my time awake, i spent nosing around the internet while simultaneously listening to the local news channel. 

I’ve tried to boycott the news for the past few days. Who wouldn’t in this situation? These news clips are often biased anyway. However, “the grandpa” had and will always have his way and today that meant tuning in to the news and blasting the TV set to full volume. 

My grandpa lived without earphones or any device of that sort. I, on the other hand, have grown very accustomed to these things. Earphones have become a sort of permanent fixture to my skull. I wonder what would happen to my ears once i hit the golden age.

Sometimes, i worry about other stuff too.. 

It is scary to think about breaking and entering adulthood and moving on to whatever waits beyond in this mean and awful century. I hate to see myself drifting away and growing old without learning anything. So, with or without this terrible headache, i shall get up, eat breakfast, and do stuff.
